Problem:
I noticed Firefox automatically looks for a favicons.ico file on every website I visit and displays these icons with their associated bookmarks. How do I enable this feature in SeaMonkey?
Versions:
SeaMonkey 1.x and later
Solution:
For all you favicon fanatics out there, this is how you enable it...
1. |
In the location bar of the browser window, type
about:config
and press the <Enter> key. |
2. |
In the Filter: bar, type
browser.chrome.favicons |
3. |
Right-click on the browser.chrome.favicons option and click Toggle so the value is true. |
4. |
Back in the Filter: bar, type
browser.chrome.load_toolbar_icons |
5. |
Right-click on the browser.chrome.load_toolbar_icons option and click Modify. |
6. |
Change the default value of 0 to 2. |
